Dr. Zamindar’s core competence is phacoemulsifiction cataract surgery (bloodless, suture-less and painless) with 18 years experience of cataract surgery. She has carried out over 15,000 cataract surgeries with 99.99% success rate.Dr. Zamindar completed her MBBS in 1993, Diploma in Ophthalmology (D.O) in 1994 and Masters in Surgery (MS) with a 2nd rank in Gujarat University in 1995.
Dr. Zamindar, a proficient Phacoemulsification Cataract Surgeon was one of the early adopters (since 2000) of the revolutionary Phaecoemulsification cataract surgery procedure in Bangalore. The procedure is quick, suture-less, bloodless and painless and the patients recover within a day with 6/6 vision.
Dr. Zamindar is not only known for her expertise in surgery, but also lays down a lot of emphasis on meticulous pre-operative work-ups to help achieve our goal of 6/6 (glasses free) vision after surgery. Apart from her clinical diagnosis, she adopts various tools and equipment to make a correct and honest post operative visual prognosis.
